Emma Louise Oram

I am a translator (French and Spanish into English), writer and proofreader, with a passion for history and vintage style.

 

I was born in Greater London / Kent, brought up mainly in East Anglia, and have lived in north east England, France, Spain, Ireland and the Middle East. My spiritual home is rural Suffolk, England, whose landscape inspires my writing, though I also have close ties to the United Arab Emirates, India and Pakistan.

 

When I’m not writing, I can be found exploring new and familiar places with my family and relaxing with our Persian cat, Simba.
